dani_buell_taxiThe new and majestic Yas Marina Circuit is holding this week the GP2 Asian Series second race and Dani Clos will make his debut with the Italian team Trident Racing. The race will serve as training for Clos, who once again will be competing in the GP2 European Series, which will close the season in this same circuit in Abu Dhabi. This race is very special for the Spaniard, as he reveals an exclusive car decoration tomorrow. Yas Marina Circuit is the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix scenario and it vas built on 2009. Located on the spectacular Yas Island, the track is set to revolutionise the design of future Formula One circuits. Boasting top speeds of 320 km/h and average speeds of 195 km/h, it features nine right turns and 11 left turns and is one of the few venues on the calendar to run in an anti-clockwise direction.
Clos completed his first GP2 Series season in 2009. The last race was held on ‘Algarve Motor Park’, in Portugal, where he reached his best result of the season. He came 2nd on the qualifying, just 0,40 seconds from the poleman. On Sunday he came third, which represented his first GP2 podium.
